The Society is planning to go ahead with our Feast Day Celebration at Aylesford Priory on Sunday 27th September 2020.  The event is being kept under constant review and this may change at short notice.  Sadly, the Prior General is no longer able to be with us due to travel restrictions.

The programme for the day is

12.00   Welcome Service and Blessing of the Intentions Banner, with a talk on St Thérèse by  Rev Francis Kemsley, Prior of Aylesford

2.15     Blessing of the Roses

3.00     Mass celebrated by Very Rev Kevin Alban O.Carm, Prior Provincial and Chair of Trustees

All the services will take place outside in the Main Shrine so that we can remain suitably distanced.  As we are outside, we are not asking pilgrims to wear masks except when talking to stewards or taking Communion.  All pilgrims will need to complete a Test and Trace form for themselves or their family unit, as required by Public Health England.  This information will be held by The Friars for 21 days and then destroyed.

The Society will have its usual stall just outside the Shrine where roses will be available for purchase from 11 am.   If possible, please make contactless payments.  Test and Trace forms will also be available at the Society stall.  Society staff and stewards will be on hand to assist you.

The Tea Rooms will be open from 11am until 5pm and the Relic Chapel will be open for Personal Prayer only between 2.30 and 4.30 pm.  There will be stewards present to ensure that guidelines are followed. Whilst the chapel is closed you may wish to visit the Rosary Way and Peace Garden.
