Friends of the Society of the Little Flower play an important role in continuing the mission of St. Therese. As a Carmelite, St. Therese wanted to "preach the Gospel on all five continents until the consummation of the ages."

Today, through the generosity of many like you, the Carmelites are continuing the work of St. Therese. Whether it is staffing a parish, serving as an overseas missionary, conducting retreats, teaching children, or offering Mass and prayers, the message of God's love grows stronger every day. With your help, the Carmelites become the hands and voice of God, touching people in need. God wants each of us to be good stewards: after all, everything we have is really God's.

Gifts through a Will

Remembering a charity or charities in your will is a wonderful way to carry on your support of the causes close to your heart after your lifetime.  Your legacy - large or small - will help to carry on the work of the Carmelites for generations to come.  Legacies are usually unrestricted gifts so that they can be used wherever there is greatest need at the time.  When remembering a charity in your will, you will need to include the organisation's name, registered address and registered charity number. This information for the Society is listed below:

Our legal name is:

Free Will Network

Through our membership of the Your Catholic Legacy Consortium (see below), the Society is a member of the National Free Wills Network.  The scheme enables you to make a will at participating solicitors (around 900 in the UK) at a concessionary cost which will be born by us.  There is no requirement for you to include the Society in your will.

Your Catholic Legacy

The Society of the Little Flower is part of a consortium of twenty-seven Catholic charities in the UK working to promote legacy giving to Catholic causes, whether it be to a Catholic charity or to your local diocese or parish.  The charities making up the consortium work across the UK as well as in developing countries around the world.  For more information, please go to or email [email protected] to request a copy of the Your Catholic Legacy magazine.
