Amongst other projects, the generosity of Society members since 2002 has enabled the Society to provide emergency aid in India and the Philippines after environmental disasters and in Kenya for Somali refugees support the training of 60 Carmelite seminarians from around the globe each over a three year period provide accommodation and training facilities for students and novices in Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Kenya, East Timor, Brazil, Colombia, Zimbabwe, Brazil, Cameroon support 8 Vietnamese young women to undergo their spiritual training in the Phillippines before returning to their home country to start a community there support the schooling of young people in India, Colombia, the Philippines, East Timor, Indonesia assist in the building of 5 chapels / churches enable nuns in Kenya and Brazil to work towards self-sufficienty through the purchase of host-making machines support water projects in places as far afield as East Timor and Cameroon assist with medical supplies in Africa provide computer equipment for a youth project in Brazil working with homeless and deprived young people
